Hii, I have problem with AMD FX 6300, it overheats...I just search on forums and found that max core temp is 62C and max socket temp iz 70C...mine temps are lot hotter, my core temp is 77C and my stocket temp is 72C. I'm using stock cooler who I got with the CPU, I now it's bad but I don't have enough money to buy something better. I was thinking about Cooler Master 212 EVO but it cost around 5000 RSD (Serbia). Can someone help me? At least see this and explane CPU temps better?

Solution
Like GhislainG wrote it is not better than 212 EVO but cost much less and if you are not gonna overclock then it is more then enough to keep your CPU in much lower temps and reduce fan noise dramatically.

Socket temp for FX 6300 is 72°C Max safe temp for extended periods of time.
I dont know how good are you with overclocking but you can set CPU to 3.8 Ghz and under volt it, that will reduce temps by a lot.
Stock voltage is a bit to high. I had my fx 6300 at 1.368 max for 4.5 Ghz and your is running at 1.380 stock voltage.
Turn of Turbo in BIOS, set Multiplier to 19 and start testing with 1.25 Vcore voltage. If it pass prime95 test for 5 min lower it a bit more and keep doing it until it starts to show errors. After that go back to one that was good and passed prime95 test.

Yes. Follow st3v30's advice since it may allow your CPU to run cooler and prevent throttling.

I disablet turbo mode in AMD Overdrive, voltage automatically drop to 1.2000, and my Multiplier set to 17,5. Then I set it to 19 and my CPU run at 3.8 Ghz. I apply settings and run prime95 about 30 minutes and this is my results.

Thanks, its better then Cooler Master 212 EVO?

It isn't as good (92mm fan instead of 120mm), but it costs less. It will be much better than the stock cooler.
