My dad was using the computer and then the monitor video just crashed. My dad turns off the computer and now when he turns it on the monitor says no signal is coming from the computer. One thing I find weird is that my keyboard does not light up to show that it is on when I press the numlock or caps lock key. I tried plugging it in different usb slots still not working, but the computer mouse does. I tried replacing keyboard with one that works and still same issue. I tried cleaning out the battery on motherboard and it didn't work. Tried removing powerplug and pressing on power on button and did not work so far. All the fans are running. What should I do?

Could be a dead motherboard, video card, power supply, maybe RAM or RAM slot. Start testing the parts and see whee the issue is. Listing system specs may help to narrow down the issue for age related stuff.
