I've just finished building my first computer. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, my monitor gets no input from the the computer itself. I've hooked up hdmi and DVI to the graphics card and the motherboard to two different monitors.

I've tried using two different graphics cards as well, no change. Everything on the motherboard lights up, and fans spin. As far as I can tell, every part of the computer is functioning. I took it to an IT guy, and he said that everything looked like it was put together properly (thanks man...).

I've been trying to figure this out for 4 days, but to no avail. I am relatively new to this sort of thing, so help would be appreciated.

Specs:
Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
MSI B150M BAZOOKA PLUS Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
SK hynix SL308 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Rosewill RISE ATX Full Tower Case
Rosewill 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

Both graphics cards, only one connected at a time:
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Windforce OC Video Card
MSI GAMING GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 DirectX 12

Solution
Your using a motherboard that does not support that processor without the latest V12 BIOS version.
So it's not going to work unless you update the BIOS snd thatvrequires a processor that will work with the board.
You also should not of bought 3000 memory although it should clock itself down to 2133.

One glaring omission is the motherboard. Have you tried to connect the monitor to the motherboard without any GFX cards connected? You may have to perform a cmos reset.

Ah, your right. Slipped my mind! I updated the post now. Starting the pc without the GFX card also did not change anything, I'll try a cmos reset later today.

So, if i were to buy an intel i7-6700, install windows 10, drivers, and everything else with that, I could then switch back to the i7-7700, correct?
