Windows 10 login screen flickering and unusable

Ive just got a new SSD and have cloned my old HDD onto it. Followed 3 different tutorials, and every time I switch my boot drive to the SSD the system gets to the login screen, flickers and is unresponsive. I have to then restart the system and boot from my HDD in order to use my computer.

Plz help!

Is your original HDD still connected when trying to boot from the SSD? If so, that will confuse Windows and damage the install on the SSD. Reclone to HD to the SSD, power it down, disconnect the HD, plug the SD into the port the HD was using, and then boot from the SSD.
