Will this GPU work with my PSU?

Hi, I have a Pentium dual core E5400, 2.70Ghz. Since I have no graphics card and I am on a very tight budget, I was wondering if MSI GeForce GT 730 2gb GDDR5 would work on my P.O.S. 250w Dell PSU. My system is a prebuilt Inspiron 545 that has had the CPU changed to Pentium dual core E5400 and ram changed to 2gb DDR2(some guy scammed us) And if it works, what type of gaming can I do with it? You should be able to run this with the 250W. Actually Dell lists the 730 as a potential upgrade for this model.

Ok thanks, but I found out that the MSI GeForce gt 730 uses PCI Express 2.0 and I think my motherboard is only pcie 1.0. X16. Will it fit? Here's my motherboard model number it's DG33M06

Yes, it will fit and the performance hit will not be that great.

Ok, my Pciex16 slot I just realized that it doesn't have that locking lever, that won't be a problem, right? I also don't have to update my bios right? All I have to do is install the card and the drivers, and I'm good to go right? No bios update, no problems with the pcie slot not having a locking lever. Sorry for so many questions, but I have to make sure. Thanks in advance.

Here is the manual. It shows a locking lever but as long as the card is firmly in the slot it shouldn't be an issue.

You shouldn't have to do a BIOS update but you will need to install the driver. I can't say for sure though, manufacturers are funny that way.

Ok, one more question, I didn't have a graphics card previously with this motherboard, so I had integrated graphics. Do I uninstall those drivers or leave them there? If I do have to uninstall, will there be no video output source on my motherboard? Also, if I install the nvidia drivers AND I leave the IGPU graphics driver there, will it work? Do I need to swap my VGA cable from motherboard to GPU if all goes well?

You don't have to uninstall the drivers but there might be a chance that you will have to set the graphics option in the BIOS to discrete and not integrated. It might just set itself too, depends on the BIOS.
