Asus rog g20

I have an Asus rog g20cb with i5 6400, Gtx 970 and 8gb ram and i want to upgrade it to a i7 6700k and 16gb ram. Will it be able to handle the i7 etc?

Seems to be little information about it, but I refer you to this thread:

Looks like it is possible, but as one poster there mentions it seems a little wasteful to upgrade to an i7-6700k because the motherboard (an H170 apparently) doesn't allow for overclocking.

As a general thought, what performance increase you will see will depend on what games you run (obviously). Depending what those games are it might not be a worthwhile upgrade.
