Hi,
I've currently got a Z-97C motherboard and an i5 4590. My current storage setup is a 128GB SSD from Kingston and a 1TB Barracuda Hard drive from Seagate. I would like to upgrade my SSD to an M.2 SSD because I would like to get more SSD storage, and I guess I would upgrade my speed at the same time
So I've heard about PCI-e SSD but I still dont fully get it: If I put my M.2 SSD in the M.2 slot of my mobo, will it run with SATA or PCI-e expected speeds? And will I have enough PCI-e lanes (considering I have a GTX 1060 and a network card) to install my SSD?
Anyways, I would like suggestion for a M.2 PCI-e SSD that is around 500 GB in capacity, but if it's good value, I could take a 1TB one
Thanks in advance,
NetMelc
