Thermaltake core x9 case.
Please give ideas of ways to mod so I can redirect liquid outside case incase of leak. My case is completely modable/customizable.

you can't completelly isolate components from loop. so in case of leak, some liquid might get on components.
The way to deal with leaks and spills is not modding the case, but:
1. designing loop that is easy to fill and drain. For example you place the pump and res and rads away from mother board.
2. using low conductive liquids like distilled water and replacing it every 8-12 month. liquid becomes conductive over time.
I'm doing liquid over a decade and never had a leak after the build is complete. there were many spills and leaks during build and testing. but none of them caused HW to die.

another option is to build most of the loop outside the case.

well, easy fill and drain comes with loops that don't go up and down so the liquid or air does not get trapped. a valve at the lowest point and fill port at highest point of the loop also helps. those are not must, just make life easier.
The GPU block installation is probably the easiest challenge you will face. just RTFM that comes with the block. it even has pictures :)
Since I'm still convincing myself to do few videos on youtube that will deal with both advanced (first) and basics (later) aspects of liquid cooling, you can visit jayztwocents. He is bla bla bla pop, but it will cover the basics. Just don't get into his love for EK.
They are doing decently performing blocks, but i'd say that there are much better rads, fittings and especially fans. they do one of the best (if not the best) pump tops.
