I've got 2 Xeon E5410's quad core's.....my rig recognized both logi's and all 8 cores...after reinstalling Windows 10 only one logi and one of its cores is shown in task manager, cpuz, open hardware monitor, and a few others....how ever the bios recognizes both processors and all 8 cores task manager also says I only have one socket instead of two?????

Solution
If you're talking about task manager having only one CPU graph, right click on the graph and "change graph to -> logical processors".

Doing onboard diagnostics now testing cores as I speak seem to be fretting along with all 8 cores having activity at least, guess now I'm confused on why all of a sudden Windows reads the processors as one seeing as how it's never been like that before
