I've been using laptops for a while now, and decided to get myself a PC around Black Friday. It's running decently, though, the issue is that it'll almost always get the blue screen of death when I put in another 8 gigs of ram. This is my current setup:

Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor

Video Card: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series

RAM: 8.0 GB

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (build 14393), 64-bit

Free Memory: 1.6 TB

PSU: EVGA 80 PLUS 600W

I've been running it without the additional 8 gigs and it's been crashing less frequently, but it's still crashing. Is this the result of an internal problem? Or is it because something is bottlenecking the rest of my components?

I'd like to be able to stream and game without issues as well, so any suggestions on what to improve to under $200 would help a lot.

I'd really appreciate any help I can get, thanks in advance!

Solution
Crashing would be the cause of faulty hardware. You need to troubleshoot your computer to see if all is working well and properly configured. Make sure that all components are properly installed and are properly configured in the bios, not overclocked, etc.
Try to do a memtest first to see if your ram is good.
