PC build World of Warcraft

Solution
WoW does heavily favor Nvidia, so I would be looking at a GTX 1060, if that is the game you will be playing the most.

You dont need an aftermarket heatsink for stock even quad cores are fine. Try these changes as the 380 is old and slow and with the changes get a quad core.

It depends what resolution you are running. If you are running 1440p a 1060 3GB might get you to about a 6-7 on the graphics slider, with the environmental down to 4-5. I run WoW at 1440p with a 1080 and a i7 6700K, at 100fps at 10 with environmental sliders down to 6, I dip below 100fps occasionally, but if I were to downscale to 6-7 on the graphics and lower the environment to 4-5 I could push 180fps easily. With that knowledge I assume a 1060 3Gb will give you what you are looking for at 1440p.

If you are running 1080p you might be able to get by with a 1050 Ti or a 1050 at about 6 again with environmental and 6-7 on the graphics slider.

All those settings are with AA off and Render Scale at 100%, those give the biggest drop in framerate for the least gain in graphics quality.

Other than that a 6500 will do very well with any of those graphics cards, I wouldn't go lower than that.

What's your budget on this?
