4 gb 940mx nvidia geforce
2 tb hdd
16 gb ram
windows 10 64 bit

I think it might be some driver issue because in past month, I've seen a lot of report about low fps in CS:GO.
Your game ran smoothly before? How much fps do you get and at which settings? What resolution?

its a brand new laptop .. just bought it yesterday ...
i installed the nvidia drivers n then installed csgo ... it gives me like 50-60 fps on high settings :(

Idk what you're talking about, I've seen my friend run CSGO in 1080p60 on Intel HD 4600 graphics

Buddy, 50-60 fps is actually very high, I don't know how you came to the conclusion that this is low fps! The human eye can't really tell the difference above 30-40 fps, BUT, since your laptop's display most likely has a 50 or 60 Hz refresh rate, you won't be able to get anything more than that due to physical limitations: a 50-60 Hz refresh rate means your display refreshes 50-60 times per second, so it really doesn't matter what configuration you have, you will only be able to get a maximum of 60 fps if your display is limited to 60Hz.
