Is it possible to install a i7 5820k on a Z270 motherboard? I want a six core processor but I do not want to spend more money on the x99 boards, I will not be using SLI setups or other special hardware besides a ASUS Xonar STX II sound card and I don't plan on overclocking or anything I just want the processor and a 1070 8gb GPU. If I update the Bios on a Z270 would that work? If it does, what should I expect in terms of being fully usable?
