Hello, Im currently deciding on my motherboard, however since my CPU is an i7 7700 non K, I will not be overclocking. I am aware that the Z/X series Chipsets are for overclocking, however from the motherboard descriptions of the B/H Chipsets, they state that those only work for the 6th Generation i7, despite both being same socket 1151. So, will an 7th Gen work on B/H chipsets?
Thanks <3

Solution
Intel's 200-Series Chipsets support Kaby Lake (7th Generation CPU).

Intels's 100-Series Chipsets support Kaby Lake with a BIOS update. The motherboard may need a Skylake (6th Generation CPU) to flash the BIOS if it doesn't have another method of flashing BIOS.

I see, since I wont be overclocking, I assume b250/h170 chipset is completely fine? For reference, I intend on using an GTX 1060/RX 480 cuppled with an S12II 620w PSU.
