One of my m.2 NVMe drives not shown in BIOS

Hello all,

I own both a 512GB Intel 600p and a 512GB Toshiba XG3 m.2 (both NVMe/PCIe) SATA drives. I recently acquired the Toshiba for free and wanted to switch it over as my boot drive since it has faster read/write.

Unfortunately I'm still unable to get the BIOS to see the Toshiba. Here's a rough checklist of what I've done/tried:

- Motherboard (Gigabyte LGA1150 GAMING 3 Z97X) updated to most current BIOS (F7 and even tried the beta F8d). Firmware on SSD already up to date as well.
- Intel 600p is recognized by BIOS in both the built in m.2 slot as well as my PCIe expansion card slot. Toshiba XG3 is not.
- While in Windows (running off of the Intel 600p) I can see, access, format, and fully use the Toshiba XG3. It isn't until I'm in Windows that I can finally see the Toshiba.
- Toshiba XG3 works in both slots if its not the boot drive but BIOS can't see it in any configuration.
- Played with UEFI/Legacy settings to no avail.

Anything else I'm forgetting? Am I stuck in the water with this one? I just find it awkward that the drive still fully functions once Windows is loaded from another drive yet BIOS doesn't see it (thus I can't select it as my new boot drive).

Thanks for any help and direction in solving this one!
