Whenever I boot my computer up it would display "no keyboard found" underneath a list of specs and proceed to the log in screen for Windows where I can't do anything because neither my mouse or keyboard work. The USB ports are fine because I can still use each to charge my phone, and I have switched the port's where I would put in the USB keyboard and USB mouse. The actual mouse and keyboard are also fine because I have used them on a separate computer and I have used a different set of mouse and keyboard on my computer and I would get the same result.
I had this problem for a few days in a row but I temporarily fixed it by unplugging the mouse USB before booting up the computer which meant the keyboard worked, I assume the mouse interfered with the USB boot order or something? No idea tbh lol. But this time unplugging the mouse made no difference and I cannot get the keyboard or mouse to work.
I've tried resetting the CMOS(?) It was this red thing inside my computer that I held for 20 seconds but that didn't work (I tried that the first time too, which I think may have meant it worked or the simple unplugging of the mouse did I'm not too sure which, because I did the reset first and then unplug). Also removing the graphics card and taking out the little circular battery underneath it and waiting for a bit before putting it in again but that didn't do anything either. I can't access the BIOS and can't really do anything other than meddle with the USBs I have plugged in and where they are and hope it makes the keyboard recognised again because that's what I had to do earlier for it to work, other than that I'm completely lost, anything help would be greatly appreciated!
Edit: it's the maximus hero 8 motherboard, 16gb ram, 1080 geforce graphics card, Intel i6700. the computer was built by PC specialist and additional USBs are for my wireless charging pad and webcam and they are plugged into the top four USB 2.0 slots at the back of the computer
