I got a new motherboard gigabyte 3.0 standard. My husband installed win 7 but can't get the computer to botot up. We were told that we should change the - is it bios?- to legacy, since the technology is to new and the os isn't recognizing it. Did so. Still won't boot up. What do we do now?

It's not booting up to windows 7. There is no error message, it just keeps starting up over and over again when it gets to the gigabyte page. Doesn't go any further. It's a brand new drive that we want to use instead of my other drive. So we'd have to reinstall all my files, etc. to it.
