If I already have 2x 4GB Sticks of HyperX Fury RAM, Can I add another Single 8GB Stick without any problems?

As title states,
I already have 2x 4GB Sticks of HyperX Fury RAM, And a friend is offering to sell me another Single 8GB Stick of HyperX Fury RAM, Can I add this Single 8GB to my existing 2x 4G Sticks?

This is risky.

1) Mixing memory is hit and miss. Even if you put in two of the same kit and they were right next to each other in the factory, they may be incompatible. Memory compatibility issues range from the system failing to POST, crashing during Windows startup, or just erratic unpredictable behavior and random error messages (I call this a ghost in the system). The only way to guarantee compatibility is to buy a kit that offers the capacity you desire.
