Today I noticed that raUI.exe was using quite a lot of memory. I've never even noticed it on the processes list before, I'm assuming, because it's been near the bottom.(?) I checked it out with Security Task Manager and it's not a virus. And it's in Program Files and not in Windows.

I don't have a Ralink wireless card. I disabled it to see what would happen and nothing did...I'm fine so far. What would have installed this? Is there a way to check? I haven't installed anything new for quite awhile.

You might search the Event Viewer logs for some installation reference.

Maybe check the registry via regedit to look for references. (Be sure to back up the registry first.) Just search and see what, if anything, turns up. Take care not to make any registry changes.

Either way you may find some clue.
