Hi.
Right now I'm using a Logitech G35 headset. I think it's a good headset but at the same time it's really a struggle. I've actually owned 2 of them because the old one broke and I got a new one from warranty. Both of them had the cable sleeving break and mess up badly. The new one bended my USB port. The software is spamming me with different errors. It's a little bit uncomfortable when used for a long time. It feels like it's been loosing its audio and mic quality over time (idk) and it's getting several years old and scratched.
So I decided that I was done with my g35 and want a new one but I don't know which one.

I really care about audio and espicially mic quality. I know that gaming headsets are not known to be the best choice for quality but I'm not a streamer/youtuber and I think it's alot more handy to use a headset. I also like the colors, looks and sometimes rgb leds of the gaming peripherals.
I really do not care about surround sound.
I've been looking into Hyperx cloud revolver and steelseries siberia 300, but I'm afraid of the mic quality I've heard in the tests. I also like bass and to hear where enemies are in games.
I would like to go pretty cheap, can I get something decent for $100? I really don't want to go over $150.
I also want it to be comfortable.
I'm pretty sure I don't want a wireless one because doesn't that mean worse mic quality?

So what headsets with good mic quality to you recommend? Sorry if there is spelling mistakes and a messy text, I wrote this on my phone. Thanks

TL;DR: i need a new gaming headset, which one??

EDIT: I would also like it to be black, red, gray or white

For less than $120 something right now, you could get a Sennheiser GAME ZERO PC Gaming Headset. Personally, I'd recommend you make your own headset. Phillips SHP9500s with a vmoda mic would be less than a $100 and likely sound better than most gaming headsets you find. However, far as I know, the Game Zero is bar none the most comfortable gaming headset (dumbo ears can fit in it if need be), with excellent sound quality, and if you want surround sound you might consider getting a low cost usb adapter for it, which is usually what 7.1 surround sound headsets end up using anyhow.

There's also the Beyerdynamic MMX300, though far more expensive at ~ $350 (basically a DT770 with a mic and slightly different build and an internal sound...

There's also the Beyerdynamic MMX300, though far more expensive at ~ $350 (basically a DT770 with a mic and slightly different build and an internal sound card built into it iirc). Sennheiser also have more and less expensive headsets, though really the GameZero quality for the money wise cant be beat, imho. Though, again, I'd recommend you consider doing a search on how to make your own gaming headset. You might get better sound quality, as well as an adequate mic, at or below your price range.

Ok, thanks. Anyone else?
