Hard Drive really high usage

The Hard Drive is almost always at 100%, but it didn't before i installed my rx 470.

I have an rx 470, FX-8370, 8 gb of ram, and a Toshiba DT01ACA100

It only seems to go high whenever i do anything, at idle it's at 20% with firefox open

Fire up Task Manager, look under processes, and sort by Disk usage. This should give you a pretty good overview.

If you need more detailed information, try launching Resource Monitor from the Performance tab in Task Manager. You can see what files are being read/written to the most.

You mention having an AMD card. I noticed that the swap file was seeing excessive usage with some of the more recent ReLive drivers. It stops after a while, but is a nuisance. Might need a driver update.

Thank you so much, it is fixed now, I just uninstalled the Live update thing.
