So I just bought a new WD 1TB Hardrive and I have a Sk hinyx 240gb SSD,So I plug every thing in (the SATA Cable and the power connector),Start Up My PC go into my Files, and my new drive isint there I retart my PC to go into the bios to make sure it is appearing there and it does,I exit out of the Bios and go to the desktop and I go back into my files the HDD isint there,so I go into disk manager and it isint there either.I put my hand on my hardive and listen to it and I can feel and hear it spinning.I have tried to boot off of that drive but it will just automatically boots off of my SSD.So then I go back and unplug-replug everything back in and make sure it all is connected try it one more time and it still isint there.I dont know if its an driver issue or another many problems plagued with Windows 10 HELP IS NEEDED.

Hi there PurPle_TomaToEs,

That is really unpleasant. :(

In many cases, when a drive is recognized by BIOS but not Disk Management, it comes to drivers. This is why, it may be a good idea to go to your MOBO's website and update the drivers.

Also, it will not hurt to attach the drive with different SATA and power cables to another SATA port.

If the HDD gets recognized by Disk Management, you will need to Initialize -> Partition and Format it.
