I have a MSI B150A gaming pro Gen 6 motherboard, if I use a 7th Gen processor would even be able to open the BIOS?

Solution

From what I've seen on this forum from other users with this problem, the board will not reach bios with a Kaby lake processor if it requires an update to support them.

Most of the sixth generation motherboards will only support Kaby lake with a bios update. To perform the bios update, you'd need a Skylake processor. The board likely will not boot a Kaby lake CPU without a bios update.
