I bought recently a Gigabyte gtx 1050 ti OC Windforce with the following specifications:

Core Clock

Boost: 1468 MHz/ Base: 1354 MHz in OC Mode
Boost: 1442 MHz/ Base: 1328 MHz in Gaming

I use MSI afterburner with a custom fan curve and nothing else, no OC. I have noticed that the core clock while i play is 1700+ with a max of 1797 MHz.
I have checked with GPU z and it is the same, 1700+ MHz while playing.

I understand that the specifications are always lower and that the gpu comes overclocked from factory but in most cases I've read they were talking about 100 MHz over the specs, in my case its more than 300 MHz.

Are these numbers right? Should i be worried? The temperatures seem fine being 54ºC the max.

Solution
I wouldn't be worried. Unless you have overheating issues the higher the better, and a lot of these 10 series non-reference cards are clocking far higher than the advertised spec so dont worry, just enjoy =)
