Alright so I recently bought an Asus p5g41t-m lx plus mobo for a budget pc build. I want to know if the pcie of the mobo will support a gtx 1050 or similar gpu. Also as a side note will it be able to use an intel i5? I bought the board used so I don't have a manual.

As long as a motherboard has a PCI-E slot preferably 2.0 @8x or greater, the card will work. But LGA775 is so old any CPU you use in the socket will bottleneck the graphics card. No i3/i5/i7's are supported.

CPU support list.
