Hello, I got an Asus G11CD that the PSU went bad. I am replacing it, but while checking the motherboard I notice that there is no room on it for upgrades. Is it possible to fit in this case an ATX motherboard. I am ordering the Asus z170 pro gaming and would like to keep the same case. If it doesn't fit I will have to replace it. Is it possible?

You wouldn't gain anything by purchasing a z170 motherboard. The i5-6400 is a locked CPU. An i5 and 16GB is probably more than enough for what you use it for. But about replacing the dead power supply, pretty much any PSU will work. Just make sure it's from a reputable manufacturer.

Thank you. My intention is not to OC the CPU. Being locked is okay. I thought on the Z170!because it accepts more than 32 Ram. In that case I will look for something else. But my question remains if may ask again. Can that particular case accept an ATX motherboard ? Thank you in advance.

Most of the times OEM machines are made specifically for that motherboard. I looked online and it looks like it only supports micro ATX boards. The board should support up to 32GB of ram. What exactly do you need so much RAM for?
