Internet Connection Is Bad On All Surrounding Networks

Frustratingly my connection to the internet from my PC has slowed right down in the last week to 1 bar when it is usually on the full 5 bars. However I have noticed that the surrounding networks that are not my home network all have the same low connectivity, i.e one bar. Does this definitely mean my PC is at fault, and any suggestions for how I could start finding a solution?

If you mean wireless signal levels those can be affected by many things. Did you move your pc or are the antenna blocked when before they were not. It is not common but when the radio chips fail you tend to get less signal or they stop completely.

Desktop. I should also maybe mention that at around the same time that this started my PC will sometimes freeze doing basic tasks like browsing websites on chrome (but this may be irrelevant). I have also done a scan with malware-bytes and it showed no threats.
