i recently replaced the stock intel fan on one of my builds with a Cryorig H7 and when i tried to boot it up the dram light was full red. I tested every stick on the A1 slot and they all worked just fine but when i tried to have all four in there it just gives me the red light. ive tried every single ram configuration possible and it seems that when i have more than one stick of ram connected it just wont work.

would it have to do with the fan or could it be something else?

RAM: Kingston HyperX BLU. DDR3

How tall is your RAM? Some configurations on CPU cooler/RAM may interfere with each other. If the GPU cooler fan is pressing against the cards, they may not allow it to seat properly or press against it.
As an example, here is my configuration:

The heat spreaders are very tall and the fan on the EVO 212 actually covers the first slot. To increase my RAM I would either need to mount the fan higher or convert to a pull vs. push configuration.

Make sure your fan is not hitting the the RAM.
