So I recently bought a new PC and I installed Windows, downloaded the drivers, installed antivirus and some games, but after a certain amount of playtime (1-2 hours) the game would start lagging and later along would completely freeze with the sound disappearing. After that, Windows will become unusably slow, pulling up the task manager and quitting the game will take ages, the keyboard is completely unresponsive and the mouse only works with massive lags. The browsers will take ages to open as well and opening a propram is completely impossible, after some time the whole screen would basically freeze. The PC then usually needs to be restarted, after which it works fine until it encounters this very same issue again.

Help would be much appreciated, since I usually google these sorts of problems and resolve them on my own but this time I don't really have an idea what to do.

Here are my specs:
Intel Core I5-6600K 3,5 GHz
Toshiba 1 TB 7200 RPM 32MB SATA3
Kingston U400 240GB SATA3
LG 24x DVD+/-RW
Cougar VTX 600W 80+ Bronze
Gygabyte GTX 1070 8 GB GDDR5
Kingston 8GB DDR4 2400MHz Hyper Impact (2x times)
MSI Z170A Gaming M3
Windows 10 Pro

I am not that good with Computers, so I would be very happy if you could provide me with detailed answers. Cheers.

The temperatures seem to be normal, the fans are spinning. I suspect the memory is the problem because today while downloading a game from my steam account and browsing the net, the memory usage went up 99% and it showed very similar symptoms to when I would be playing for a while. I checked and the software seems to detect the whole 16 GB of memory, but I don't know what causes all of it to be in use.
