So what i want to do is use a WindowsImageBackup of my hdd and transfer everything onto my new hdd.

But i don't know how to do this.
I don't have a case/dock station for the (internal) hdd to use to connect my pc with.

If its not possible, could someone recommend me an alternative?

Solution
You wanted to copy data from one HDD to another, didn't you?
With Minitool Partition wizard free you can do that and much more - copy partitions, resize partitions, convert disks from one format to another.

Windows Image Backup can only take image of whole drive and restore image to a drive. That's it.
