I am a first time pc builder and i am seeking for help, I have finished building my pc but need advice on what to do now, like what to install, what order and other things because i tried everything my self but f***** up somewhere and ruined my hdd good thing i had a spare. Anyways first i will state my components so whom ever helps can go from there. Also please dont judge like i said its my first time and i did some research but maybe not enough so my parts may seem random but i went off of someone elses build.

Cpu: Intel pentium g4400

I will go with the free option for windows but because i bought a key for it. Also i will be using a usb to install windows 10, And only have one hdd.
I know this seems like a wierd build but i dont plan on OC i dont know what it is but hear alot of people say it. I built this simply for fun and because i had the money to do so i do plan on playing games but not crazy high class ones exept for gta5.

Please someone help i messed up bad the first time i got everything to work i was in windows 10, i could see everything like microsoft edge the start menu everything but after i installed an antivirus everything went to shhh.

I want to do it right and really need help. Sorry for writting an essay.

Install windows and then update it all the way this includes drivers. Create a restore point so if anything goes wrong your ok. Then install I would suggest Avast. Next install steam and your browser choice. Download your games in steam and your done.

Instal iobit advanced systemcare, or driver booster 4 (system care is recomended) and run the driver booster (make a restore point first by clicking on one of the buttons on the top right till you see a section that shows "system restore") then scan your drivers. (If already scanned don't worry. It eill show you ALL the outdated drivers (too much really) so un tick the useless ones like, usb ports, or disconnected devices. Then click update. Usually takes a Loooong time. If it fails, you can always click on the restore section of the driver booster, and select your oldest or favored restore point, and click restore.

In this link select your OS and it will show you a list of drivers to download. These drivers aren't the newest but heavly verfied to work. If you have any issues with the drivers afterwords then you may want to track down the newest version with a google search. Driver booster is ok but its best to not install something unneeded if you can do the job yourself.
