I have 2 PC Desktop back at home.

Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2GHz
P5GC-MX Mobo
DDR2 RAM
Asus GT630 4GB
160GB Toshiba (Assume Dead)
550 W PSU Made In China

Intel Core i5 4460 3.2GHz
Asrock B85M-HDS
16GB DDR3 RAM
GTX960 4GB
500GB Barracuda
Antec iPower 650W PSU (Crossfire/SLI Support)

The reason im getting a new build/upgrade, is because
my Intel C2D is pretty much old and dead.
It is still in a working almost dead condition due to,
cmos issues, hard drive issue and get a new set of 6th/7th generation of intel by reusing any of the parts above.
My bro playing games such as CSGO, LOL and we kinda fight over it to play the Core i5.
i am playing x3 A titles games after all.

I was thinking about reusing both the parts for the old ones and then the core i5 components moved into new build.

Basically, i was hoping to do it like this reuse and move it

Intel Core i5 4460
ASrock B85-HDS
16GB DDR3 RAm
Asus GT630 4GB
500GB Barracuda
550W PSU Made in China

New build be like
New Intel Core i5 6th Gen/7th Gen
New H110/H170 Mobo
New 8GB DDR4 RAM
reuse GTX 960 4GB
New SSD/1TB Hard Drive
Reuse Antec iPower 650W PSU (Crossfire/SLI Support)

Question is, Is it safe to reuse the made in china PSU for the i5 4460 setup?
Budget for the new components of the new Builld 300$
and hope to get it in mid FEB 2017

if you value the computer, retire the no-name, made-in-china PSU as soon as you get a free minute. i wouldn't even put it in a secondary computer for the fire hazard reasons alone.

the i5 4460 isnt a half bad processor. for $300 you're either going to get a locked sky/kaby lake i5 and a "meh" motherboard or you're gonna get an unlocked i5 and a "very meh" motherboard. this being if i actually follow what you're saying you want to do.

Yes. Kinda like that.
I just wanna re-use and move the component around between the new one and the i5 4th gen.
