I just finished building my first PC. I still have not installed the GPU or ssd since they are arriving after one week. I got my display and hooked it up to check whether my bios would come up. But it didn't. My keyboard was not recognized through USB either. Both keyboard and monitor work when i tested with another PC. When i press the power button everything turns on and i do get power supply at all USB ports. Please help

CPU i7-7700K
Motherboard Asus Maximus IX Code Z270
RAM Corsair 16GB (4*4GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)
CPU cooler Corsair H115i
Power Supply EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 (120-G2-1000-XR 80+ GOLD)
Other components LG Blue-ray Burner SATA (WHNS40)

This is pretty basic, but do you have all power cables connected? You have a 24 pin and an 8 pin power cable for the motherboard, you need both.
