i recently bought a second monitor for my system. it worked fine for a while, my main monitor running off my DVI-VGA adapter and the second one using a HDMI-VGA adapter, however one morning when i turned it on the second monitor stopped recieving any signal. it was working fine the night before, but it hasnt worked ever since. i know it is the port because when i swapped the cords the second monitor worked fine off the DVI port. any suggestions?

You are using an adapter, make sure the adapter is good, you would need to either try another adapter or use a monitor/tv directly to HDMI without an adapter.
