I just installed my new 1050ti, and I noticed that the screen looks blurry and washed out, I live chatted nvidia and they told me it was the monitor, because when I sent them a screenshot of my screen, it looked fine. That didn't sound right to me so now now I am here. I already installed all new drivers, unstalled amd ones, and made sure the resolution is native. Also I am using a vga to hdmi converter if that makes a difference.

Solution
Did you check the Nvidia scaling options in the Nvidia control panel? That can cause overscan or underscan, which can produce the symptoms you're describing.

You mean HDMI-to-VGA converter, right? As in taking HDMI from the video card and converting it to VGA at the monitor. That can cause problems too. If the card has DVI-I out, you should be using a passive DVI-to-VGA adapter. DVI-I outputs analog, so the "adapter" just rearranges the wires to fit the VGA plug.

The solution to it should be on the monitor switches. There's a switch pressing upon which the screen display is adjusted to to the resolution and stuff. This worked for me, should work for you too (since yousaid that the screenshot worked okay).
