I cannot for the life of me figure out this stupid issue. It's a tiny little system freeze that happens intermittently, usually lasts 1-2 seconds. I'd say it happens once or twice a day. I've noticed it almost always happens when I open Spotify for the first time when booting up.

System specs:

Windows 10 Home OEM
EVGA 850W GOLD
I7 6800k (no OC)
32g g skill RAM
GTX 1080
4 TB seagate HDD in RAID
450g ADATA SSD (OS)
256g m.2

Things I've tried: replaced motherboard entirely, replaced PSU, removed all RAM but one stick, reinstalled OS multiple times.

Okay then my poor suspicion was shot down :)
Anyway. Maybe it's because of Fast startup. Seen and heard this can freeze up Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 PC's at random times. If you want to try and disable it, it can be done like this:

Heyo andrewmfilms

I know this might sound dull, and it might also be, since it seems you have a pretty beefed up PC, but anyway..
Could you try have a look at your HDD/SSD usage when you open e.g Spotify or other programs where the little lag happens.
It might just be your HDD is being hammered in the start-up period, and might not have the necessary resources to open Spotify up immediately.

Just checked and it doesn't even hit 2% usage. Guessing that's not the problem, haha.

Anyway. Maybe it's because of Fast startup. Seen and heard this can freeze up Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 PC's at random times. If you want to try and disable it, it can be done like this:

Access your PC's power options.
Click on "Define what the power button does" (Or something like that, I don't currently have my Windows on English)
In the buttom you'll see something of the lines of: Fast startup and sleep. You won't be able to change these yet. You'll have to click the line at the top which says "Change settings that currently aren't available."
Now check both boxes off (Fast startup and sleep)

This might help, and it might not. I've seen cases where this have helped people, and it might also do with you.

Good luck figuring out the problems cause!
Cheers.
