Hey guys,

I'm looking for help, as the title says: My PC freezes up in less then 5 minutes once it gets into the windows.
There is no error or blue screen of death, everything just stops, sound freezes also in annoying one tone. If i only !!restart!! it after such freeze, it works perfectly stable until I turn it off completely over night and turn it on again the next morning!.

Any help with what to check is highly appretiated.

Specs:
Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit
MSI X99SLI plus
5820K
Kingston HyperX 4x8GB 2133MHZ
Transcend 512GB SSD370 SATA III 2.5
GTX 960

You could try a clean boot and see if its windows or a start up program causing it. If it still happens its not one of your start up programs.

Drivers were worth a try :)

not sure if this would help, it allows updating firmware on ssd: https://www.transcend-info.com/Support/Software-10/

I don't think its ram only as it works fine after the freeze.
Do you have any add on cards? or unusual USB devices? external hard drives?

Hey Colif, thanks for the responce, but even though I tried that and my updates are up to date, so this one was no help.
Any other way to get in front of this?
