Okay, sometime, I am very annoyed at system requirements. Devs don't really emphasize "YOU NEED TO GET A GPU WITH THIS MUCH VRAM IF YOU WANT ULTRA TEXTURE". Like, Titanfall 2 recommend 6GB/8GB Vram but I can run it just like fine on my 6950 (2GB) without any texture load-in. Battlefield 1 meanwhile, recommend 3GB/4GB vram card yet my 6950 (2GB) experiences texture-load in.

It seems they just recommend some X-midrange card currently for no reason, just because it's some X, or current gen, midrange card.

Meanwhile Gears of War 4, according to Techspot Benchmark and other sites, show lower resolution texture if you use the GTX 1060 3GB on Ultra vs 1060 6GB which shows higher resolution texture.

DUDE, if I bought a 1060 3GB and run GoW4 on ULTRA at 100 FPS+ yet the game engine uses lower resolution that's like you're playing the game on LOW. Playing the game on ULTRA BUT LOW, That's a paradox. I am disgusted at the thought of playing the game on ULTRA, but really pretty much low.

Anyways, right now, everyone is pretty at peace of mind with 8GB of regular RAM, as they think software won't exceed it, however, what about video games? yes, they say you can't predict the future, but in your opinion, do you think games with exceed 6 GB, or 8GB like regular ram, usage?

Is there a stopage to graphics technology? if it keeps getting better it becomes real life can we see 24GB of VRAM? will the GTX 1580 ti have 128GB of VRAM in 2021? 2027?

IMO VRAM usage will just stop or plateau at 8GB just like regular RAM. That's just a wild guess for no reason. What do you think?

Eventually, yes.
If we go back a few short years, 1 or 2GB was more than enough. Before that, 512mb. And on and on.

When? Completely unknown.
