This is my first post, here, after spending several hours looking for other remedys to my issue. I had previous issues with my AMD 9590 and I realized it was an overheating issue. Updated from a seidon liquid cooloer, on my previous CPU, to the H100i GTX Corsair cooler. Problem solved, a few months have past and I got some better games. Such as Total War: Warhammer, Witcher 3 Wild hunt, Space hulk Deathwing, Stellaris, Resident evil Bio hazard. On all these guys they will work fine for several hours, and sometimes not even a minute will go by before the system switches to a black screen. No keyboard, mouse, nor does holding down the power button to turn the system off. Need to turn it off by power switch on the PSU, Unplug for several seconds, replug, then can reboot. I'm not entirely sure if it's a BIO settings issue even at this point, I've attempted flashing, going to defaults, etc, still no remedy. And I the board Ill be posting is fully updated in the bios, so I know that's not the issue. I also though that maybe running better games would have the MOFSETS over heat, found out that wasn't the issue either. I also thought maybe it could just be the GPU not getting enough power, Upgraded from a 650 to a 750 with two twelve volt rails, Modular, thinking that was the issue...It wasn't either. Right now I'm at a loss. Even checked error reports and it doesn't give me anything, just tells me the system had a sudden loss of power form needing to restart.

AMD 9590 FX
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
Nividia GTX 980 TI
NZXT White Phantom
16g of Ram, Kingston
PSU of 750
Windows 10

Alright, I tried that, didn't seem to work. I also tried turning off the C2 And C6 states as was suggested on another forum, that didn't work either. Also tried lowering it even more down to 3.0, still no avail. If needed I can pick up another Mobo, which im close to doing, what about suggestions? I'd prefer something relatively recent as to this clunker that I seemed to pick up on an impulse buy.

I'd much rather get an 8350 and sell the 9590 than keep busting my head and my wallet to get that unstable mess of a CPU behaving. There's not much that chip does that's worth this amount of trouble.

No I completely agree, however I am stay at home father of two, my income isn't that great, and the parts I have are all other parts I've accumulated through various computer repair work...I wouldn't mind going into intel, but I just don't have the money to make the adjustment....Which is very unfortunate. Past hour or so I've been looking into MOBOs, it seems most things I read is really dealing with the 220Ws needed for power. Therefore I assume I'd just need one that is stable enough, the cooling issues have been rectified and took care of that with a quickness. Any help just to get it to run at least DECENTLY would help me a great deal. :bounce:

Edit: I just found... http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20970%20Performance/ Says it runs well for the needed 220W, Would it be sufficient?
