Rate My PC Specs (First Build)

Hello. This is going to be my very first PC build and I am going to be using it for gaming (a lot), recording, doing light editing, streaming and rendering. Now there are a few things I can't change because I have already gotten them. They are: the mouse, speakers, ssd, hdd, case, motherboard and cpu. I am aware that I have said that I will be recording, rendering and maybe some streaming, but an i5 is totally capable in doing those things. Other than that, what do you guys think?

I recommend an i7 because you will be streaming. An i5 is very capable for gaming and all those other things, but you need the extra threads for streaming. Assuming you mean twitch streaming, that is.

As I said in my description. I already HAVE the i5 ordered and it's shipping to me atm. Also, I know many people that stream with i5's. It's not actually as cpu dependent as you think. It really just relies on your internet for the most part.

As for the streaming, you are actually wrong about that. An i5 is not good for streaming. Yes, the internet speeds are the most important thing (mainly UP speed), but if you want a smooth, lag free stream, an i7 or an AMD FX 8 core are necessary. Streaming is extremely CPU intensive.

Yeah... that'd be a big hassle for me since I don't live in Europe/US/Canada/UK. I'll just stick to the i5. I've got the power of a 1080 anyways. And btw, I know lots of people who stream fine with i5's.
