Hello, I'm planning to buy a Intel Core i7-7700K and along with G.Skill RIPJAWS V 16GB 3000MHZ 1.35V. Will this processor support this much ram speed and use the full speed?

Or should I go with a ram speed of 2133 or 2400Mhz.

Thank you,

According to https://ark.intel.com/products/97129/Intel-Core-i7-7700K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_50-GHz ,(very reputable site) it will support 2133 and 2400mhz.

What you can do however is, buy 2400mhz RAM, then you can overclock that.
My i5 6600k supports 2133 and 2400mhz as well, but I can overclock my 2133mhz RAM to 2800mhz.

I don't know if it would support 3000mhz RAM, hopefully someone else has some experience with it here.

EDIT: did some of my own research, and it will support 3000mhz RAM!
When you start up the system the RAM speed will default to 2400mhz, and you then need to overclock it to the advertised speed using XMP or manually.

Thanks for the reply guys, the motherboard im thinking of getting is Asus Prime Z270MPLUS
LGA 1151. Now If I dont want to overclock the cpu, do you think its a waste going with the 7700k instead of 7700?

i am running an i7 7700k in an asus strix z270E board with dominator platinum DDR4 3000mhz kit and it runs just fine it did default to 2400Mhz ive not tried OCing the CPU and ram at the same time but i can confirm that the ram at default the CPU can hit 5GHz stable and with the CPU at stock 4.2 my ram hit 3000Mhz just fine stable. now im going to try hit CPU @ 5Ghz ram at 3000Mhz and if i can get it stable keep an eye on core temps and the cpus memory controller as u know 3000mhz is not officially supported so thees reading's will tell me if its compatible or not IMO.
