Hi Gurus,
I am looking for some 144Hz 27 Inch Gaming monitor - Budget is 400$ Max
(to get some frags atleast 1 sec faster :) when playing online in games like csgo , BF4.)
My usage is medium gaming especially more into CSGO , then more movies and general browsing.

Questions ?

Q1. Whats is G-SYNC , FREE-SYNC , ADAPTIVE-SYNC ?

I have GTX 1070 8GB so I guess I should go with G-SYNC OR does adaptive SYNC gives the same feel as G-SYNC ?
(I tried a FREE-SYNC 144hz 1080p monitor , I could not see any difference with my GPU)

Q2. Also is 1 ms really needed or is 4ms response rate equally good.

Q3. Also is it better to get 1440P insted of 1080P ? , I have no plans of upgrading my GPU to make 1440p maxed out :) .

Current Build :
MSI Z87 GD65 MOBO
PCIE SSD 960 EVO 512
16GB CORSAIR
1050 CORSAIR GOLD PSU
i7 4770k
GTX 1070 8GB

Found few models
1.BenQ - ZOWIE XL-series 27
2.Dell - 27" LED GSync Model: S2716DGR
3.AOC AG271QG Black/Red 27” G-sync

If you're playing mostly CSGO, I'd save your money, ditch G-sync, and just get the 144hz BenQ 1080p monitor. You're not going to be able to get a quality 1440p 144hz monitor for that price and 1080p is plenty for CS.

1. G-Sync is Nvidia, Free-sync is for all cards technically but mostly AMD, Adaptive Sync is only supported by AMD at the moment.

check this for a better explanation

2. That's GTG response time, any 144hz monitor should be fast enough in actual response

3. That's up to you

Pretty sure adaptive sync should work with a NVIDIA card as well. The NVIDIA Control Panel at least lists it as option with my 1070.

As for the screens listed, stay clear of the AOC, terrible quality control.
I'd go with the Dell out of this list.

Also looks like the BENQ does not have G-SYNC ? so for around 80$ more , I am getting Dell - 27" LED GSync Model: S2716DGR with 1440p and G-SYNC is this better ??

Pretty sure you're thinking of adaptive Vsync, which is different. Adaptive sync is an optional feature in the displayport standard which forms the foundation of Freesync.

For csgo you're usually going for Ultralight motion blur instead of G-Sync.

The use of 60fps on a 144Hz screen is not really logical to me.
You'd want 60fps since it's the refresh rate of your monitor.
A 144Hz screen refreshes faster. Anything under 100 is quite noticeable.

Not only very specific to CSGO.
But in general is G-SYNC not an added bonus feature to have , I we are running powerful gtx 1070 and 1080's.
The frames i get on csgo is somewhere from 120-220.
