This really annoying issue has been plaguing me for awhile: while working (taking notes, programming, or just using Chrome), my laptop will freeze up and my disk usage will go up to 100% even though there seems to be little data being written. Sometimes, however, CPU will go to 100% and everything will freeze up, even if all I have open is Microsoft OneNote and Chrome.

The laptop broke down on me about last year and I narrowed it down to a hard drive issue and replaced with an SSD. Ran beautiful for 3 months until this started happening until now.

Sometimes it gets really bad and I can't write more than a few lines of notes before it freezes for 30 seconds. Rinse and repeat.

After I tried to restart I ran into a BSOD describing 'memory management', which is really annoying.

Steps Taken
- Memtest (4 pass completed)

Any ideas?

Edit: Issue seems to occur more frequently when I alt-tab; however, it still occurs even if I try to avoid alt-tabbing.
Edit: Issue seems to occur almost all the time when trying to look something up in windows

I would suspect the Ram. Freezes are generally memory related, while crashes(or reboots) are generally power related. Since you say that you arte getting a memory management error also, it could be the CPU( where the memory controller is located.
