Alright. Here's a descriptive rundown as to what's happening.

On my PC...
I use a direct Ethernet connection via powerline adapter. I also use an Ethernet card to connect the powerline adapter to the card (since my motherboard Ethernet port is a little difficult to set up)

Everything shows up green on my powerline adapter, and the little icon on my PC shows it's fine too. But whenever I try to connect it says I'm not online/connected.

Very strange, right?
Did some troubleshooting and noticed an error that said the following:
"The remote device or resource won't accept the connection"

Looked this up online and found a few things regarding resetting browser stuff. Did that, still no good.

My next option was to reset my router. I did that, no luck.

This is happening across all devices in my household.

Something else that's strange is that whenever I tried connecting wirelessly (with our password and such) , it said that our password had been changed.

My next assumption is that someone managed to get in our router settings and change the password, but that feels unlikely because I doubt any of the devices in our house has a virus.

Also, the router is all good too. Internet light is up and a-ok.

This leaves me to the following conclusions.

1. Our wifi password somehow got changed (only I know how to do this within our family)

2. My wired connection is being denied by the router for some reason

3. Maybe the ISP is behind this??

4. Or, maybe there's an outage in our area. But I can't guarantee that

I really need help here.
Anything is appreciated. Thanks

Try calling your internet provider. One time they changed our wifi password and they miss - pelt the actual password, so it said we were all typing in the password wrong. If they cant help, try using your motherboard Eithernet, and if that works you know that there is something wrong with your powerline adaptor.

Interesting to know. However if I'm directly connected to my router (or whatever the thing that gets the internet directly from the outlet is called) via powerline adapter then why am I still getting the error mentioned earlier? The one about not being able to accept the connection
