Hi, I am running into some problems with my gigabyte 970a ds3p motherboard. I had a pretty good OC of 4.7ghz for the last 4 months and everything was stable. It started to crash a lot and now every thing turns on but it wont post. im really hoping that i didn't fry anything. there were no unusual smells or noises coming from it so I dont think i did. If anyone has any clue how to revive it please help.

How can you tell if the board is dead? Also, could this have hurt any of my other components like gpu etc.

Well, if the board is dead, I don't think the PC would start.
And if the CPU is dead, again, the PC wouldn't start.
So, either something is a little dead or he somehow messed up his BIOS and now the PC doesn't know how to post.

its very odd because the monitor recognizes that there is input because when i unplug the computer it says no input. im hoping that its not a problem with my 1070 that i got a week ago. its actually funny I was reading the reviews of the card (Asus dual 1070) and someone said their computer died a little white after installing theirs. Ill reinstall my old 960 to see if anything different happens

holy shit it was the 1070. this is shocking given the card is only 8 days old. why do you think this would happen? i get a bios screen now. i think i might be sending my 1070 back
