Hello,

I am having issues with Sata Drives in my new build. My build is as follows:
https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/wDVnwV

None of the drives are detected by the motherboard(bios) except for the first one, Samsung 850 Evo SSD, where the OS is installed. It does not detect Samsung 850 Evo mSata(which is connected to the motherboard using msata to sata converter), HDD and newly bought Samsung 960 pro M.2. I cannot understand what is the problem. I am quite sure i have connected all of them correctly, which can be obvious knowing the first drive is working perfectly fine. Besides, for M.2 you don't even need to connect any cables and it is much more straightforward. Therefore, i believe something is wrong with the motherboard bios or something else. I don't have any experience in drives and it is my first PC build. Maybe i have to do something in bios to activate them? I really need your help! Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Should you need any further information do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks very much in advance.

No worries, they may be labeled something different that you didn't recognize within the BIOS. Those are them, the easiest way to identify which drive is which would be checking the available space on each. Alternatively, with...

I think it is obvious that they are not there except for the first one as they are not even shown/detected in bios.
PS. I am a novice in this area, but i think you may be right. Can you confirm that by Disk 0 they mean the main SSD where OS is installed and by Disk 1 they mean Msata or M.2??? Disk 1 was unallocated and i have chosen to create a new volume and i got it as Disk D in my PC. I am really confused now.

Those are them, the easiest way to identify which drive is which would be checking the available space on each. Alternatively, with multiple drives of similar storage capacities, right click them then select 'properties', when the menu appears click the 'Hardware' tab to see the manufacturer of each. After you've identified them right click 'new volume' I believe to format them and assign drive letters and names. They should now appear in Windows.
