hello everyone, okay my ques is i was using r9 270x sapphire card my specs are i5 4690 8gb ram 650 psu actually i duplicate my screen i have a 23inch monitor and 50inch sony tv so like when i play games it shows on both screen i turned off monitor while playing games on tv and vice versa the very 1 ques is if i duplicate my screen in games will it uses more graphic capability than compare to single running on one screen or it jus shows on duplicate use only one display capability in simple will it perform slow in 2 duplicate screen as compare to 1, my r9 270x stopped working and i bought new one rx 470 now i am worried abt my 470 i think because of using on 2 screen my r9 270x died i don't know asking for your opinions is it safe using screen duplicate all the time ?? i generally play shooter games on monitor and other open world on tv and watch tv shows on tv but i always duplicate the screen i jus turned off monitor or tv according to need but it always on duplicate is it safe ???

press windows key + 'P' it will show this
select the extended. this will separate your screen. and in turn would not process more from your gpu. You can open your game on your tv or your monitor which eveer suits you. It will surely process more as it will try to output the same image on 2 different monitor.

i use 2 option duplicate it shows exact same images and gameplay is is use more gpu power ??

My understanding is if you are just showing it on another screen it uses no extra GPU power. It's not doing any extra processing or calculations and it's not using any extra data in memory. It's just sending the exact same image data to another screen.
okay thanks man this is exactly what m asking okay bro one more the rx 470 4gb comes with 1 hdmi and 3 display port i have connected 1 hdmi to my tv but my monitor has no display port it comes with vga,hdmi,dvi what should i do buy a converter to display port to hdmi ?? i mean if i for cheap one will screen shatter or lines come etc ??
