Processor i3 7th gen or i5 7th gen

i just preparing to get i3 7th gen but my relatives say that i5 7th gen is better...i would like to ask what is the most different that use i3 and i5 to compare it

main difference i think is though the I3 has virtual cores so it appears to have same amount of cores as I5, having actual cores is still better in some applications

It really depends on what you use it for.

Hi,

Firstly, you should mention your use case and which i3 or i5 model you plan to go for. Also, what is your budget? i3s are dual core processors with Hyper Threading whereas(2 cores, 4 threads) whereas i5s are quad core (4 real cores).

If you plan to buy this for gaming, I would suggest go with i5 as most modern games take advantage of 4 cores. I would also suggest you to buy 270 chipset motherboards.
