Intel Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Asus B150 PRO GAMING/AURA ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
EVGA Geforce GTX 1070
Corsair CXM 650W 80+ Bronze

Mushkin Blackline 16GB x2
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
Seagate Barracuda 2TB

I recently built a PC and I cannot get signal to my monitor.
I followed this guide:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems
I did everything except for:
17.Did you install the system speaker (It did not come with a system speaker cable)

I found a compatibility note for my MOBO:
"Some Intel B150 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaby Lake-S CPUs."

I am really, really hoping that this is the problem preventing my monitor to get a HDMI / VGA / DVI signal.

My question is: How do I update the BIOS on this motherboard?
Can I update it without the CPU?
Do I have to buy another CPU?

Solution
Well - you could return your i5-7500 and get i5-6500. That would not need BIOS update.
Or - also you could get some cheap Pentium G4400 just to flash latest BIOS into your motherboard. It costs ~55€.

I will see if I can send the MOBO back to NCIX to update the bios for me. That or I'll have to return my CPU and get another one.
The Pentium G4400 costs $74 dollars here and it'd be a waste of money and to have an extra CPU that I will not use.
Thanks for your help.
