Need a Router for my 100mbps Network

Can anyone please explain the usage of Ram and processors in high end routers ?

m' planning to buy Archer c20 since its very cheap and having 744mbps support

in my home we have 8 CCTV + 10+ mobile devices & Ipads + wifi Printer + PC + 3 laptops .. might join more devices in future

Suggest me best Router for my purpose if Archer c20 is not good

If you choose to connect a disk to a router and desire it to be shared a higher-end (multi-core) CPU is beneficial. That is really the primary use-case I see. There might be performance differences with QOS rules or other bandwidth shaping uses. I have never worried about how much RAM is in a home router....

First, don't "bump" threads, it is against site rules.

If you have 100Mbit WAN service, then you need a router with gigabit WAN port since you have to have more than 100Mibt link speed to achieve 100Mbit throughput.

The AC1900 routers are the best price/performance point right now. The Asus AC1900 is a great choice. Check the router ranker over at SmallNetBuilder.com
